Sora was in the town square, looking for a good sized apple. He was about to start exploring the plains, and eventually all of Dalmasca, which was his one goal. But he had one stronger goal too. "I can't believe Dalmasca fell to the hands or Archadia. Well, I shouldn't be too suprised, when me and Keibo got tangled with that Orange cyber cuty, we almost died." (OOC: FFCC!) Sora wondered where Keibo was now. Perhaps playing in the woods or flying around with Cid. "Maybe she will show up someday."

"Nah." A voice chuckled. "Someday seems to far off."
There she stood, her long black hair behind her slightly blowing in the cool breeze. She had a wrench in hand, and a golden watch was being slipped into her nutorius little pouch. It was always good to see friends again... Sora was one of them. Keibo wasn't going to hide the fact that she was stealing again. Sora knew her better than that. She couldn't trick him- he was smart.
"I would stay and chat, but the guy I hit with the wrench here just hit the theivory button. I gotta go. You comming?"

Sora couldn't believe this, Keibo and Moogle all in the same city? "Sure Keibo, i'll come with you, you might need my help. Lol. What about you moogle, do you want to come with us?" Sora was dying for another adventure. He didn't like being trapped in thi city, but the Archadian guards wouldn't let anyone leave or enter. But maybe the 3 of them could escape somehow...

"Here." Keibo reached her hand out for the box. "I'll carry the box. We don't have time for dragging things around. If you want, you can try and ride in my pouch. It would be faster for the three of us and I have to get out of here."
She turned to Sora. By teh look on his face he was happy to be able to get out. She had noted on how strict the guards were. However, she also noted their stupidity. They were easy to get by with a few tricks, so for Keibo it wasn't a problem. He was dying to get out- his entire body screamed it.
"Besides, I'm dying to get back out in the wild. The population in here is making me choke. Sure, good buisness but, everyone needs thier vacations. I have everthing I need so- let us go?"

Keibo let her hand drop as she stared blankly at the moogle. She blinked a couple of times before the city's sound awaoke her from her shock. She looked toward the guards, jsut standing there. Keibo watched one trader walk up to leave (apprently this was a reprise) and she didn't even cringe when his obstinecence was paid with a large mouthful of guard-fist. She sighed, and shivered a little bit. She turned to Sora, but spoke to the moogle.
"Get in the box. I'm going to close it when you get inside, but I'll let light get in. Don't worry, I won't let it be dark for you."
She then looked into Sora's eyes, remorse all over her face. If this was thier best shot, then by all means. However, if rumors spread, heads would roll. "Do you still have that dressphere, you know, that Lady Luck one?"

"Ok, Keibo, I have the dressphere." Sora reached into his oversized opcket and pulled it out, along with another million things. "As for you Moogle, how about you go into the corner of the box so noone can see you and you can still have some light. Sora picked up the little fuzzy thing, noting its very soft belly. "How could anyone harm something as adorable as you?" Sora laughed.

"Ah. Thank you, Sora." That was for one, taming the moogle, and two, for the dressphere. She took the dressphere and to the sound of an alarmed unit of police, she dashed toward the side, and quickly applied it. It worked immedietly, as she had hoped, and her eye color changed into an brown-orange to go with the red of the Luck Dress. Keibo flipped the cards in her hands, remembering when she first used these little things. They were fanned before her. She smiled, adn then looked toward the guards. Her voice dropped to a whisper. "Now before the police realize what's going on, let's get out of here. Sora, if you would, take our little package for me? Let me do the talking..."
Now, to overcome the guards. Some days, she really didn't like being a young woman...

"Oh, like I'm enjoying this." Keibo hissed beneath her breath to her companions. "Tis is the best way to get this done without getting us in trouble with the city's armed forces. As much as I don't want to do this, it's probably going to buy us our night's sleep. Quiet frankly I would think that you guys want to sleep at night, insead of running. So jsut keep clsoe behind me, and don't speak of this to anyone...please. Kay?"
She didn't wait for a response. She put one foot infront of the other, regretting every step. She turely envied her moogle friend right now. She walked between the guards, and internally spewed every meal she ever had. At least she wouldn't look like a rookie. Her grandmother had taught her these things just in case of dire emergencies- because they do happen. Now or never, Keibo...now or never...
Light on ehr feet, she posed toward the guards, and easily caught their attention. The red of the dress outlined her very body...she faught so hard to keep ehr smirk on her face. She fox-stepped her way to teh gate, and when the spears came down, they weren't in the normal gesture of impassage.
"Where ya think ya goin, missy?" One gurgled. He sounded as if he was drunk, but that was apprently the norm. "Ya know your not aloud to leave the city..."
The two guards began to chuckle. Keibo had to swallow all of ehrself to get this done, and it hurt so bad.
"Don't mind us, boys." She swore, never, unless it was a matter of life and death, would she say that again. "My servent boy and I were just going to a...special...place in the woods. You see, our little moogle was a good friend of ours and well he...passed on..."
She felt so degrated. After this, she was going to jump off a cliff, and not come back. She hated teh fact that it was pulling over so well, that everything her grandmother taught her was surfacing in just the right moments. How to stand and talk was taking over, adn keibo couldn't wait to get back out of the dressphere again.
"Oh, I'm sorry miss." The guard chuckled, his face right in hers, his hand on the opposite side of ehr chin. She couldn't belive she was playing along with this. "Its so sad to see a pretty lady cry..."
"Yeah, go ahead miss, just make sure you come back..."
"I knew guys like you were still around..." She smiled ehr last smile, and then lead the way out of the city, her walk still going for the guards who were still watching. She felt one big hand slap her small bottom, and that was the last straw. Get through that d**n gate Sora. Now.
"Go ahead, young man. Serve your lady well."
"Yeah, go ahead, she needs you now. Just make sure she comes back tonight- we would hate to see her run away." The guards were chuckling again, and let Sora and the little box pass through the gates...

"Dead, eh?" The guard groaned at the back for the departing girl. They replaced the spear between she and Sora, making him unable to leave. "You know, you may be pretty but..."
Kiebo had to think fast. She reached for the cards and used them as she had many months before. SHe quickly looked, adn though they weren't high cards, they might do the trick. She had to pray that this would work on those dimwhits and hope that Sora could follow through- but that wasn't so bad. HE had been following through wuite nicely before- and he didn't seem to have canged much. He would be able to figure something out- right?
"Light of Shining Stars!" SHe called out. Heck, she didn't know what she was doing- was it obvious? None the les, it was a bright light, and the guards sheilded hteir eyes and flinched for hta tone moment...

Sora grabbed Moogle and his box and quickly ran for the gate, knocking out a sper that was sticking up in his way. The tip flew up and he hard a soft scratch. "Keibo, I made it, lets run!" Sora, holding the box with the cute moogle inside ran as fast as he could. Hopefully they had escaped the guards. Once Sora had some time to catch his breath, he looked down at Moogle, and stood there stunned, that soft scratch had cut a hole into the box. "Oh c@!p................................"

Keibo quickly banished the dressphere, and was back in her own cloths again- and thrilled to be that way. She looked at the cut in the box, and hoped that the sqeeling moogle was alright. However, she knew she didn't have the time to check. The gurads were getting up- and 'mad' was a serious understatement.
"We can look at him later..." Keibo hissed through erh teeth, still feeling overly degrated. "He should be fine. Until we can loose them, or rather their intrest in destroying us, we don't ahve the time for check-ups!"
Keibo felt the adrenaline pulsing thorugh her. The golden pocket-watch she had just stolen was now taking it's revenge as she herd it ticking in her pouch beside her. With a snarl she reached for Sora's sleeve. Wether she had grabbed it or not, though she hoped that she did, she began to run...running so hard. It was liekt eh time they were running from those orange cyborg people...

((OOCL No, watch, the hole was the size of a jet plane but Sora froze time and fixed it until a little scratch was left and he then made time normal while checking his favorite stocks: NASDAQ: +12.0334 DOW JONES: -1.2333)) Keibo had just missed his pants, but he got the idea. He tucked the box into his arms, the last thing he wanted was a whole bunch of guards to trample over moogle, or worse, it's box ((OOC: Watch, one day the guards will destroy the box and then moogle will turn into Ultima or a demon and breath fire on them, while buying his favorite cold cuts from the corner deli. NAG NAG NAG)) "Moogle, brcae yourself," and Sora started running, just keeping up with Keibo, theif were much faster, they kind of had to be, and the box and the heavy sword weren't helping eihter. "d**n oversized pockets!!" Sora was really running now, for he heard some guns being loaded, they were in a really bad situation. "How are we going to get out this one" he sighed to himself, while panicing all the jolly good day. ((OOC: Rice stocks went up!!!!  )) |

"With our lives." Keibo murmered to Sora. "Because, if I'm correct, thsoe guns were made for the guards, and therefore there was no need to spend high amounts of money on them. Thus, their range is nothing big. And, sicne it's been over tens seconds we've been running I belive, unless this watch is messing me up, then we should be out of range soon. They aren't aloud to leave the gate. Lucky for us, we aren't heavily packed."
They had to get into teh next region. It was bad news them being just kids, but what could they do? She could tell that this was no excuse to stay in a city. Keibo shuddered at the thought, never being able to break into the woods...
"Okay, Sora, I'm breaking for the trees, as you could guess. Do you have a game plan? Cause I have a feeling we're after this new govermental development here. I'm gonna killl if they tell me to chill out a read a book."

"I say that we should head for the woods. It makes a great place for hiding, and it has some nice fresh air. Besides, moogle may have fun in the woods right?" Sora looked down to the box he was holding to see his approval, ((That is too much.)) still running at a fast pace to escape from the guards. He wante to play it safe and run until he was completely away from those jerks. "Keibo..." he said panting, "I think we escaped them..." Sora stopped and remembered that Keibo had said that they couldn't leave the gate. He felt a little dumb having run all that way for nothing. He could see Keibo a couple of yards back, and waved his hand to signal her. "You probably know the woods better than I do, why don't you lead the way."
