Keibo brushed into the leaves ahead of her two friends. She took off her 'shoes', which were more like socks really, and rubbed her bare feet into the forest floor. She beamed to have the sticks, shedded thorns and bugs crawling beneath her perched toes once again. Home sweet home.
"Sora, Moogle?" She called back. "You guys back there?"

Sora put the moogle and it's box down. "Keibo, we are over here," he said, seeing Keibo only a couple of meters away. He figured that he would pick up the moogle and it's box again so it wouldn't have to walk through the thorns, unless it otherwise objected. "This seems like a well hidden area, it is going to be hard for any guards to find us. So what should we do now?"

"First, set up a camp for tonight." Keibo began thinking of all the things needed for a camp, even a simple one. They didn't have tents so it was a good thing that the weather wasn't going to pour down on them. They could sleep in the trees and the lucky moogle could have a cradle between the branches. Keibo also thought about food, but she could almost smell the water to the south. Food was easy, being that she was armed and assuming that Sora was also, hunting would be a sinch for them. Keibo smiled as the thought of Live Moogle Bait popped into her mind. "And then we eat. I could set up the camp, and Sora, if you could get us something for our stoumachs then we should be just find by the time darkness hits."
She looked up into the trees, feeling quite at home again. She wondered how anyone could live with a society of other people. They were so close together and no one knew their neibors for real. A select few had a good knowlage, but that's because they were the landlords. Keibo smiled a chuckle- it was good to be back on the move.

"Too bad we don't have a white mage dressphere..." Sighed Sora, well, at least they had a theif, a warrior and lady luck, most people were lucky to aquire one in their entire life. ((OOC: Will finish later I am watching Beck play MIBII!))

"Well, when we go back to town or something we can take care of that." Keibo smiled. She had plenty of money, it was jsut a matter of how to get to it. Some of it was in items that she had on her that she was willing to sell (which, the watch was one, ticking a hole into her brain), while a good deal of it was in cold cash. yet agian, there were many stashes of money that she had hid in various places around the world that she had been to- often sentamental places that she could never forget. yet, with all this weath, there was just something about ehr just taking what she watned instead of trading for it that she loved. What ever she wanted, when dusk passed, could be hers- as long as she could carry it away.
She reached into one of her pouches and pulled out a small apple. It wasn't very much, but it was in a decent condition and it was a really sweet kind too. With a few more to spare, she shined the apple on a piece of inner clothing (sot aht it wouldn't make it dirtier) and then handed it to the character in a box. "Here. It's not much, but it should hold you off until we can make some real dinner. Sora, you want one?"

"Thanks!" He said, taking the apple from Keibo. "I've been reading around that we could make some money but more importantly have an a great adventure in the other planets. I've always wanted to visit Mars and Saturn and what not, you know, to literally escape the world for a little while..." Sora handed the second apple to Moogle, hoping that it would calm down, he didn't want Keibo to go ballistic on it.
((OOC: I still have to add a whole bunch of forums so we will hold it here until they are done I guess.))

"Yeah, but I don't know much about those places. We could either be arrested for rumors, glorified for rumors of all the stuff int eh past, or simply die or starvation because we can't chalk ourselves up to eat thier grubs. Out of three, one that was good- and would end up being bad anyways."
Keibo, the optimistic. She truely liked Earth and all. She had this palce down pat for the most part. Besides, a little longer and she would be a gold member fo the black market, and could sell things to other planets in that name. Everyone loves to buy from the black market with all the shnazzy deals. They had earned their good name around teh nearby solar system with few compeditors. Keibo wanted to be all over that before she left her home planet.
"Besides, we're safe for now. If you want we can set up a secret base for escaping in, but for now I think we should jsut stick around adn gain a few levels before we do anything drastic."

((Adorable)) "Yeah true. Besides, Keibo, you have never been to the other planets so you wouldn't know. They have been domesticated and such. Anyway, that can wait." Sora sat down in the warm soft brush. Sure, running from guards was fun, but he wanted to have a REAL adventure. Well, he guessed that he could get an airship from Cid just as eaily, but for now, he went to sleep. The first quiet nap he had in ages.

"Sora, you rest first. You too Moogle. In the meantime I'll get something over a fire." Keibo mused ehr words softly. She didn't want to leave the planet. Maybe that wasn't a real adventure until you launched your game, but she didn't care. After spending months locked up in that stupid city, she had finally gotten home. She threw her dagger and caught up a pheasent (sp?). She calmed herself down from earlier by, one by one, plucking each feather off of the bird. She lay with her back up aginst the tree, a fire starting to brew within a small ring of rocks she had made before...
"Keibo, you're not going anywhere until you learn to read." Her moogle told her. "It's essential." "I'll be fine. I have been all this time, haven' t I?" Keibo whined. Reading was just something she couldn't do- she dind't understand it and no matter how much they studided it, it never clicked. "If it wasn't for Sora back then, you would still be running around like a noob. Give him yoru thanks for your life because you know he's the one who saved it in the long run. I don't know why you left him behind!" "I didn't leave him behind, so shut up about it! He was a good friend, but after a while, that was it. WE had seperate paths to take. He's a warrior and I'm a thief!" "You don't have to be, Keibo! Just because it was the family buisness doesn't mean your pinned to it. Now get back to reading that." "I told you, I can't read you stupid-" "Don't you start that with me! If your going to be stubborn might as well make a fire so I can READ you a recipie for pheasent!" "I can make a fire, but I don't need a stupid recipie to tell me how to eat my food!" Keibo hissed. "For heavens sake Keibo!" "What aboiut it, what about Heaven, Moogle? You think your all that, but yoru teh scum some days- you know that? Just get off my back, adn I'll amke you food because we both knwo you can't cook. I can't read, adn you can't cook, adn let's leave it at that!" "Keibo I won't be here forever, so you better lsiten to me now-" "Yeah moogle." Keibo towered over the small moogle, ready to roast it over the fire instead of the cleaned bird. "You won't live forever if you keep fighting me. I'm the only reason you're alive, so you better learn from it."
How long ago was that, a year? Something like that... Keibo poked the fire under teh pheasent, roasting it to a golden brown. it was the moogle's fault she died. She brough it upon herself...

((Ok, you tell Sora to rest and he is already sleeping...)) As Sora dozed on and off, he thought about how the whole day had gone. He had found, Keibo, Moogle and they had escaped from Dalmasca! Or at least, the city part of the town. Soon, they would be on their own adventure. He just hoped that they would be safe as they slept in the woods, hopefully the Archadian guards weren't trying to hunt them down, even though they were safely hid in the woods. As the night grew, he wondered what the next day would bring.

((Hey, look, Keibo can do that. K? Keibo is all Theifily powerful. XD))
Keibo was sleepy. She didn't care about the guards- they weren't very strong compared to when she and Sora worked together. The night passed slowly, and the fire was blown away before the sun rose again. Luckily Keibo had a small slipper that had made heat on it's own from some rich baby's house. Keibo didn't feel bad stealing the baby's slipper, becuase the rich snob family could just get another pair with a wave of their stubby fingers. Keibo really hated the rich- especially those who had inherited it and still thought they were better than everyone else.
She turned to the restless moogle. Looking inside the box, she watched him- feeling helpless. She didn't know what he was thinking. All she could focus on really was her own past- and how badly she had botched it up. She wondered what her adventure would entail thsi time, trying to keep the future roling instead of ehr memories. She glanced over at Sora, with a sisterly glow of affection. She let out a breath of beloning, and looked up to teh stars that she knew so much of. That was Poiven, the north star, and you can find your place on a map with it... That was the big ladle, and the bigger ladle...Kiebo smiled. She would make a map one day of the stars.
She sighed, wondering when the sun would come up and warm her world again.

Keibo looked up as the Moogle whimpered. She blinked, shaking her head. She didn't want to know. She tried to picture herself as small and helpless as the moogle- and started to chuckle under her breath. Her two sleeping companions- did they dream? So far, they had remained still, for the most part. She stood on her feet, and gave a streach in the moonlight. She liked the night, her friend, her haven. Yet, in thw past days it had betrayed her. The Night had not only hidden her, but also her enemies from sight. She had a worthy enemy back in the city- but now he was left behind. She looked at the bones of what remained of the pheasent, what had been her meal hours ago. She felt the urge to go off, and play in the night, but she dared not leave her friends asleep- unportected. Even thieves had their codes. "To live as one's own, And one's alone, To thrive off of riches, 'Till the cows come home, To Ride on the Sparkle of the Stars, And to Thrive in the Riddles of the Moon, That's the Theif's Life, The Life with it's own Tune, And if it may be, That one saves your life, From Death, From Imprisinment, From Revealment, From Sloth, Then the Life of your Friend, Is considered your own. Family is Family, Until they Rid of your Pride, But an Ally is Bonding, Hide to Hide." Keibo's voice was in a whisper. It was a code she recided to herself every now and then ever since her Grandmother taught it to her. A bit lengthy, true, but it gave a new dimsenion to Theives in the perspective of other people. She was always a person to follow this code, and she must abide to it still. Taking a last glance at her friends, she sighed- feeling a sense of beloining once more. Taking a few sharp rocks, she sat in the tree, peering over the small clearing adn all the bushes around it- in case any preditor came.

((Wow, you actually thought of a whole cool saying, good job!)) Sora tossed and turned. It wasn't that he didn't like sleeping outside, it was just that he had been stuck in the city for so long, he was so used to sleeping inside. He thought back to the days when he and Keibo ventured out, remembering their almost fatal encounter with a fire elemental. Ahh, those glorius days would soon return. Sora thought he heard Moogle tossing around, as if it were frightened. but it was in it's box, hopefully it would be ok. Sora dreamnt about how the good days would return, and with this, he was at rest.
