"This is it." Vega whispered to Sigi with a thick foreign accent, one not her own. She picked up her tone a bit, and with that accent, she began speaking again, more or less to the actual meaning of her words. "We can take a room or so 'ere. we can do business up in those rooms. We can get a good warm meal I hear, the bird and the two of us."
She took long strides up tot eh door, and let Zephyr peck at the door. A small window opened, and the door tender let the door swing on it's hinges. The inside was mostly the atmosphere of a bar, friendly-like. Vega spoke her name (and the bird's) to the tender, and ordered herself some food. With that, she let them know that the Foxy Bunny was with her. They winked with a playful smile, and let the suspicious samurai in. Once Sigi was near, she dropped the accent.
"Have a menu."

"What's with the accent?" Vibeke whispered as she took a menu and briefly skimmed it. She peeked over the edge of the menu and looked about her.
She was shocked at the number of faces she recognized. Thieves she had hunted but never caught. Vega seemed to know more about this place than she did, so Vibeke would consult her before she took action of any sort.
A young moogle peeked behind the airship schedule he was reading to see the new arrivals. He was hoping it was the person he was supposed to meet soon, only to be mortified at the sight of a samurai. Raz's eyes grew wide. What's a samurai doing here??
Raz knew for a fact that most samurai weren't outlaws, in fact, the lot of them worked in thee field of justice. He tried to stay calm and turned back to his schedule as he began to formulate and emergency escape plan.

"I don't know. I felt like it." Vega put simply. "Find what you want yet? I'm getting a Pina Colada, myself. Fish for him."
Zypher ruffled his feathers happily. Fish was only for special occasions, and even he had learned that quickly. It was to high priced not to sell the kind he was able to catch for himself, thus they would always sell his catch for what they needed- and cheaper foods. Now that he was going to finally eat fish- he was very happy.
"However, I do suggest the Ferin Ych. Unlike it's name, it's surprisingly good- and not that expensive either. Especially when you put a dab of honey on it. It's one of those Grandma recipes."

"Hmm... Ferin Ych it is then." Vibeke chimed as she set her menu down and spun around on her bar stool to face the rest of the place. She could see that she was quite the sight to many. Samurai weren't very popular among outlaws. She saw a few eyes dart away as hers came in their direction.
Vibeke then leaned closer to Vega and lowered her voice to a whisper so that no one else could hear. "How don't the authorities know about this place?! Its crawling with Dalmasca's most wanted!"
Raz was trembling heavily behind his airship schedule. "Doooooohhhhhh..........." He moaned in his lonely seat at his deserted table. He had to get out of there. It wasn't good for him to be seen at this particular place by a samurai. At the first chance he got, he would scuttle out, and make a break for it.

"It's protected by the code." She sipped her Pina Colada, since the Bar Tender had herd her speaking of it and had brought it. "It's a cross of the thief's code, and some other one, but I know neither of them. In short, however, well serve you, you don't tell, and we can play Texas Hold'em while we chat about our mothers."
Vega almost laughed at her own joke, but knowing it was fart to tacky to do so, she refrained. She could hear a chuckle or two beside her, however. The waiter soon arrived, and Vega ordered for the both of them, including a small thing of honey. The waiter smiled and said he would take care of it while the griddle was hot.
Vega turned back to her samurai friend. It was kind of funny, watching to enemies eat amongst each other. The food soon arrived, and she watched Zypher dive into the fish. She finished her drink, and ordered a second. The bartender warned her about the third and she shrugged him off playfully.
"But take note of the faces. That we can do. Also, I believe there is a way to make challenges around here, but I don't know all the rules. But, what I do know, is make the challenge and win, and you can call someone out, make a single advantage deal, w/e. I'd ask the rules though. NO point in following one code with your life while breaking the one that's protecting you."

"Hmm...." Vibeke hummed when she heard the bit about the challenges. She would have to spend more time around thieves, unfortunately. She turned to her dish and sniffed it suspiciously. Poison was always something to check for, especially in a place like this where she, as a samurai, was a sight to see. But, oddly enough, because of her physical appearance, most probably wouldn't want to poison her, note to Vega's RPer's reference to Vibeke as "the Foxy Bunny".
"So, just keep a low profile for now....?" She asked, "Blowing this place off now wouldn't be a good idea anyway. "
Raz saw the samurai turn to her dish. This was his chance! He slinked off his chair and wve his way around the many legs that held giants above ground. At least . . . . his short stature gave him this view. He reached the door, and with haste, opened it and closed it behind him.

"I could explain the challenges if you like. Wouldn't be trouble at all." A Black Mage moogle popped up from beside them. "Despite all the rules, they can be easily summed. Pretty much a fair fight, one weapon, little to no interference, and if agreed, everything with reach is a trade of weapon. Other than that, it's just skill against who you're fighting. Good to know what you want before you try things."
Vega looked up to the moogle, and recognized his face immediately. He was one of the few who, like herself, had come here regularly without a criminal record. He was highly respected in this place, because no one had anything to hold down on him. Anytime someone tried to frame him through challenge, he always won. A highly respectable, ingenious moogle. "Dimas! Long time no see!"
"Ah, good Vega. This 'ere friend of yours? Hm. Would guess so. Wouldn't get in without one of us." He chuckled. "None the less, there's no reason to worry about your food here. This place, though a criminal's bar, is filled with honor and code. Kind of ironic, but certainly a nice thing to have in the middle of nowhere. Don't ya think so?"
"Truly." And back to the drink for the Hume.
